The Firstwood

The Firstwood is the great forest the elves hold as their ancestral home, on the far side of the eastern continent beyond the mountains. It was named to the party by the Saltmoor scholar Bevin as the better of two places to learn the deeper history of the old relics and of the world before the loss of some four hundred years ago.

Within it lies Silvaris, where the more learned scholars of history keep their records. Their library, Bevin said, is where the party would find the deeper meaning behind the second-epoch artifacts — the answers the dwarves of Steamveil hold in their craft but will not readily give up.
